Relax, unwind, but don’t think too hard
National Lazy Day – August 10
On August 10, people in the U.S. will celebrate National Lazy Day. It is a day to take a break from the daily chores and work and spend it doing nothing.
In today’s world, we often find ourselves longing for a day where we don’t have to do anything, but when we do have to do anything, it’s hard to actually be lazy.
The origin of National Lazy Day has been lost to time. It is possible that the people who created it were too lazy to write down its origins. This holiday is mainly known for its bizarre product. Although it seems to have little to do with anything, it is still a great time to do nothing, especially with school starting up in a little over a week.
August 10 is the day to stop doing anything that we don’t need to do. This is a holiday that most people do not plan on doing anything about. Instead, they just want to spend it doing nothing. So, try not to think too hard about what to do! Just go somewhere comfortable, bring your favorite snacks, and watch something you find entertaining!
