International Surfing Day is annually held on June 20. This day celebrates surfing and the surfing lifestyle. In more than 30 countries they honor International Surfing Day with scheduled events for the whole day.
Surfers all around the world stay out all day and night on the water for International Surfing Day. People come out and watch the contests, while they enjoy barbecues, take videos, and have surf-related activities and classes for beginners. These contests and get-togethers are eco-friendly, and even have beach cleanups happening at the same time.
