Teachers enjoy victory over students in volleyball

Each year Armijo High School hosts games between the students and staff. This year, athletes from both categories squared off against each other on Friday, December 9, to play some volleyball. The game started out with teachers taking a quick lead and never looking back.

This year, it was the teachers winning against students, but staff members and students alike enjoyed the game and had a lot of fun.

Mr. Joseph Arbizu, math teacher, said, “I loved it! I love it that they offer to play volleyball every year. I really enjoyed playing it and seeing old students.”

It was great experience for both students and teachers and it is a great opportunity for them to do fun activities outside of school work. It was also very entertaining for students to watch their friends go against their teachers.

Although the students may not have won this year, they can start preparing for next year. It promises to be another fun experience for the students will be a little more experienced and a little more prepared.
