All dressed up and nowhere to go? Don’t let that stop your Prom experience.
This year, most schools around the world will not be celebrating prom, but this year, the closest many will get is celebrating March 31, National Prom Day.
Proms are usually experienced in high school with lots of traditions and expectations. It’s a time filled with fashion, friendship and fun.
High school students often look forward to this event for years, but without the opportunity to celebrate with friends and a significant other, there are still things that can be done on National Prom Day, and the experience will be a lot less expensive.
Perhaps you will consider making a prom night dinner or visiting one of the recently reopened restaurants. Create a prom playlist of songs and dance with your family or close friends, live or via Zoom. Ask your parents to share about their prom experiences.
Remember, just because you didn’t have a prom this year doesn’t mean you can’t do the fun activities that come with having a prom.
