World Contact Day – March 15
It is estimated that about half of the population believe that aliens exist. If you believe in aliens or are curious, then you are going to love World Contact Day! World Contact Day is celebrated every year on March 15 and has been since 1953.
International Flying Saucer Bureau (IFSB), an organization, announced World Contact Day in March 1953. The IFSB wanted to create a day dedicated specifically to all the curiosity surrounding extra-terrestrials (ETs) and aliens. On World Contact Day humans all around the world unite on World Contact, where they attempt to make contact with extraterrestrials life or alien civilizations.
In order to participate in World Contact Day, you can watch your favorite sci-fi and alien movie or show, such as Alien, E.T. the Extra-terrestrial, X-Files, or Star Trek. Be more curious about another life outside our earth. You can also communicate with others about their beliefs on alien life.
While the IFSB no longer exists, people throughout the years have continued trying to make contact with ETs. If you have ever wondered about what was outside of Earth, have fun with your curiosities on alien life and take part in World Contact Day!
