Celebrate from the heart
Celebration of Life Week – January 1 – 7
As human beings, we naturally have an inclination to get accustomed to a repetitive routine. We tend to become sort of robotic, day after day, repeating the same thing over and over, but when do we as people really have the time or a common epiphany to step back and take time to ravish in the moment we’re given for free?
Celebration of Life Week (January 1 – 7) gives us a time to celebrate all that we’ve accomplished, even if it’s the littlest of things. Partying might be a typical celebration, but a celebration is more than a turn up every now and then. It’s rejoicing every given moment and exploiting your feelings into a positive frequency.
Life is not peaches and cream for everybody; some dwell and dig a deeper hole for themselves while others suck it up and climb out. How can one week of a simplistic joy for life change people’s point of view for the moment? Let’s quickly dive into the heads of those who see the world from a pessimistic perspective, where life is just a droning day-to-day thing that keeps slipping right before their eyes.
Deep down, they want to be happy just as much as the next person. With that being said, this celebration can become a trailblazing movement of changing attitudes for everyone to enjoy. Celebrate with open arms to anyone and everyone. No matter the circumstance of your situation, it costs nothing to give what is already free and celebrating and prioritizing the good can change your perspective and change your year.
Celebrating doesn’t come naturally to everyone, but can be developed in just a few small steps. Share complementary words, kind glances, or silent walks with a loved one. Celebration is never just about the event but what occurs during such an event. A positive aura is contagious and rubs onto the next person who then passes it on to the next and so on.
Celebrate the big things, the little things, important things, past things, and even the anticipation of future things. To others, it may seem irrelevant to consider celebrating, but everyone has their own victor worth celebrating, and Celebration of Life Week is a perfect time to make it a habit.
