Alex is hopeful for an in-person graduation
Senior Spotlight – Alexander Perez-Sanchez
Alexander Perez-Sanchez can hardly wait to graduate from Armijo. After the stresses of the last seven months, he said that graduation will be like a weight being lifted off his chest.
He is ready for whatever life throws at him and will make sure he has some type of income, as he is smart with his money and knows what to invest in. One of his plans is to invest in real estate and become an entrepreneur.
Perez-Sanchez said that some of his favorite memories are from his freshman year, when he was walking around campus during lunch, blasting music and going into classrooms to see teachers’ reactions. When President Donald J Trump was first elected, Perez-Sanchez remembers that many students were not very happy and caused commotion. He said that those students and their actions will always be memorable.
His favorite class over the years was AVID with Mr. Nanfito, and even though it was his freshman year, it left a lasting impact. Overall, the years have been entertaining and challenging, but he found his junior year to be the most stressful.
Some advice he has for upcoming seniors is to keep track of graduation status and make sure to be on track.
