You are awesome – admit it!
National Youth Confidence Day – October 20
“Building a framework of positive role models is vital to developing responsible, confident young adults” (National Day Calendar) For this reason, National Youth Confidence Day, which is celebrated on October 20, was founded by Tiffany R. Lewis, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Confident Girl Mentoring Program, Inc.
This holiday is dedicated to encourage children and young adults to gain experience and attain their goals. Adults are encouraged to mentor youth and accept their mistakes. In order to become confident, youth are expected to learn from their mentors and learn to admit and grow from their mistakes.
To help develop confidence, teens can ask the adults in their lives about their own life, or post pictures that make them proud. They can start by making notes to themselves and siblings, or plant a seed and nurture it and remember that confidence comes with growth and growth comes with risk.
On October 20, add #NationalYouthConfidenceDay and tag @Confidentgirlmentoring to share on social media. It will be the first step to becoming a better you.
