A day to recognize love and boyfriends
National Boyfriend Day – October 4
No need to wait until February to send a special shout-out to your boyfriend. National Boyfriend Day, which is celebrated on October 3, is dedicated to acknowledging that special guy.
It’s doesn’t matter if the relationship is old or new, but the holiday itself only started being celebrated in 2014. It is generally associated with young couples, but it isn’t restricted by age and there are some obvious ways to celebrate it.
Some boyfriends would be thoroughly impressed to be treated to a special dinner, at home or out on the town. Maybe a walk around Pena Adobe park or a picnic in the backyard to take advantage of the California weather. Special gifts could be shared, too. Does he have a special scent or a favorite color? Maybe you could get matching face masks or a gift card for his favorite online store.
Celebrating National Boyfriend Day in October provides an opportunity to enjoy activities that can take place in the mild fall weather and enjoy some of the season’s favorite treats. While it is always worthwhile to show love in a relationship, it is nice to have a special day set aside for the celebration. For those who don’t yet have a boyfriend, this could also be a perfect day to invite a special someone into a new relationship.
