Have you listened to Cavetown’s new single ?
Cavetown, an indie artist, is setting amazing expectations for his upcoming album by releasing its final single Sweet Tooth. FLOOD Magazine describes the song as “…falling madly in love with a potent sugar rush.” Cavetown released Sweet Tooth this Valentine’s Day, just in time for his lovesick fans to rock out. In the song he describes how exhilarating having a crush can be, while also addressing the longing of wanting that person to like you back. Sweet Tooth was produced, written, and recorded by Robin Skinner, which is Cavetown’s real name. From listening to his music, you can really tell how much work and effort he puts into his songs. Christian Nathaniel Domondon has been listening to Cavetown the start of his music career.
“I feel like it’s a very relatable song. You want your crush to like you back too, so I can really relate to the lyrics. And I like the artistic choice of the music video by throwing glue and glitter on the roses,” he said. “It’s like a representation of how we feel when we have a crush so overwhelming.” Cavetown also produces music for his friends and fellow popstars, chloe moriondo and mxmtoon. On the side, he also films YouTube videos. Make sure to check out Sweet Tooth and his upcoming album SLEEPYHEAD, which will be out on March 27.
