Old Spanish Trail at Pena Adobe March 7th
Old Spanish Trail Open House at Peña Adobe Park in Vacaville
VACAVILLE – Learn about the Old Spanish National Historic Trail in a presentation by The Descendants Chapter of the Old Spanish Trail Association, in partnership with the Peña Adobe Historical Society! Often called one of the most difficult trails in the United States, the historic route allowed local pioneers to settle in Vacaville. It was originally used by Native Americans, but by the 1800s, those who traveled by mule, horse or foot used the trail to get from the Midwest to Los Angeles. Join the Old Spanish Trail Association in a fun and educational afternoon at the beautiful Peña Adobe!
