Coffee and a paycheck
Jarod Braida is a hardworking individual, both at Armijo and at his job at Dutch Bros in Dixon. He’s been working there for over half a year. “The drive isn’t bad at all, though,” he said. “It’s about thirty minutes long and it’s a chance for me to just relax and listen to music on the way.”
None of his friends from school work there but they do try to get free drinks from him, even though Braida stresses that he’ll get fired for that. “That’s one con. Another is that Dutch Bros can get very busy to the point where the drive-thru line will be reaching the street.” He did recommend the blended lemonades and strawberry rebels to people as their first exposure to Dutch Bros.
Braida highly recommends the job to anybody with a positive attitude who is able to communicate well with others and match energy with happy co-workers. “It’s a great work environment,” he said. “My co-workers are nice and we get to play our music all day.”
He only had one job prior to Dutch Bros, and it was at Larry’s Produce for three years so. “I’m not sure how I’m going to work in Dixon but go to SoCal for flight school after I graduate,” he said.
