In This Class: U.S History
Most students, before graduation, will sit through a U.S. History class, learning about the past of our country in more detail than they ever did in elementary or middle school.
Mr. Tyler Losberger is one of the Armijo teachers who has U.S History classes and he was able to explain the content of the class. “U.S. History is the study of the events and people that have shaped the course of our nation’s history,” he said. “We learn about our history to make connections to and understand the modern world we live in.
“U.S. History is an important subject that is necessary for students to take, not only to graduate, but to have a better comprehension and understanding about their country. “
The class teaches valuable lessons and it can also help students further develop their critical thinking skills. “In this class, students are taught about major events that impacted our country such as the World Wars, the Vietnam War, the origins of the United States, and the modern age,” said Mr. Losberger.
