Volunteer works with ROTC
Brandon Martin joined ROTC during his sophomore year because his friends inspired him to join. They told him that it would be fun and a great experience and he discovered that to be true.
Martin enjoys participating in ROTC and said that he wants to join the military after he graduates. His favorite thing in ROTC is he gets to be with people he enjoys. “ROTC inspired me to join the military and to build up leadership and let go of my shyness,” he said.
The most important thing that Martin does in ROTC is help others, and he serves as an example for others. “If you‘re able to inspire people and help others on what they want to become, then you’re doing your job right as a human being,” he said.
Martin wants to work in the military with an intelligence job and he said that ROTC is helping him be more independent and makes him want to enter the military even more.
