It’s Not Too Late to Pretend to Be a Time Traveler
Many have thought that they were born in the wrong generation, but maybe on December 8, we can bring the past into the future.
On that day people are encouraged to dress up with styles from any decade, in the past or in the future. It’s up to the individual’s interpretation of the holiday.
Pretend to Be a Time Traveler Day was created in 2007 by a group called the Koala Wallop online company. “If I came from the future, it would be in the year 2050,” said Saqqara Manley.
This is your chance to fool around with people. For example, dress up in what you think people are going to wear in the future. Then go up to a random citizen and ask, “What year is it?” When they tell you, say, “Then it’s not too late!”
There are many other ways to celebrate the holiday; it’s similar to Throwback Thursday. “I would rather stay in the future because you never know what would happen… and it’s a new chapter in our lives,” said Alex Martinez.
So, where are you going to time travel from?
