A proud tradition
Loyola is a private Jesuit Catholic co–ed research university, located in Chicago, Illinois. Loyola is one of the biggest Catholic universities in the US. Their acceptance rate is 73% and their graduation rate is nearly 73%, that’s extremely good! Loyola was ranked #104 in National Universities, just missing the top 100.
The average tuition a semester for Loyola is around $45k, but with financial aid it’s around $35k. The size of their campus is 105 acres, about one and a half times the size of Armijo’s 64-acre campus.
Loyola has said themselves that, if you “lack motivation,” they do not want you at their school. Even freshmen have said that they’re shocked every day by how much Loyola University has to offer.
Loyola has many good things said about them, even if it’s not as well-known as other universities. Lastly their mascot is a Wolf that goes by the name of LU, but the nickname for the students is the Ramblers.
