Ending the season with passion

Dylan, flanked by two of his biggest fans, looks back fondly on memories during Senior Night.

Dylan Bertani has been playing football for nearly seven years with passion. “I have played football inside and outside of school, but I have only played two years for Armijo High School,” he said. “The positions I play on the field are running back and linebacker, although, I prefer linebacker because I like defense a lot better and especially the fact that I hit instead of getting hit.” The years that Bertani has been playing football have given him a lot of experience and skills, both mentally and physically, “I’ve learned to always work hard and do your best in what you can! That is what both advice and experience I have had.”

Even though this was Bertani’s last year of playing high school football, he will always have something to remember and truly cherish, “The best memory I would say is our team dinners on Thursdays before our games,” he said. “I would say that is going to be something I am going to miss and always remember because it’s when my team and I would spend time together and bond.”
