Pack for success and enjoy the journey
The first long vacations since school started in August are coming in the next several weeks and that may mean travel for some people. Oh, the places you can go! Whether you are chilling in Miami on the beach in the heat or skiing in Tahoe with freezing feet, your outfit should always look on fleek. Lets start with how to pack.
Depending on if you’re flying or driving, more space will always be better. Like a good grandmother would say, ironing and folding will be your best friend. Making your clothes flat as possible will help save space. Loose items should always be in a bag of some sort. One thing that can really help you is a capsule wardrobe. That means choosing clothes that mix and match so that a few pieces create a wide variety of options.
This is important especially for vacations, whether you are going somewhere new or somewhere familiar, because it allows you to wear a different outfit every day without bringing a lot of different pieces. Multiple tops that layer, pants in basic shades (including leggings to layer under pants in colder climates), and accessories that make the colors pop!
Don´t forget about the hair! Having the right products is going to be key to your vacation because your clothes could look nice but the hair pulls it together.
Take a few extra minutes to envision the way you can wear the clothes and be prepared to have fun while you look hot, no matter what the weather is.
