In theaters now: Gemini Man

Gemini Man is an action movie about Henry (Will Smith), a skilled assassin who is planning on retiring but is suddenly targeted by a mysterious sniper who knows his every move.

Henry soon learns that the man who is trying to kill him is a younger, cloned version of himself named Junior, who was created in a lab with Henry’s DNA. Junior was developed because Henry was the best assassin, whose skills included the ability to shoot someone who was in a moving train miles away. Junior’s creator wanted to develop a clone who would have the same remarkable skills.

While trying to protect himself and his team, Dani and Baron, Henry tries to win over his younger self in order to show him that he is the good guy and that the man who created him, Clay Varis from the Gemini Lab, is the evil one.

I believe this movie is a must see, a real thriller that made me anxious but also made me laugh when they made jokes here and there. My favorite part of the movie is when Henry, Junior and Dani are in the catacombs and Henry explains to Junior that he isn’t an orphan and everything Clay has told him is a lie. Of course, Junior doesn’t believe that he’s alive to be trained to be an assassin for when Henry retires.
