Back to School Night returns on September 12
In August, students got to see their teachers and see their schedules for the first time. In September, it’s the parents’ turn.
Back to School Night is an annual event scheduled for Thursday, September 12, from 5:15 to 7:30 pm. It is an evening when parents can meet the teachers and find out more about their children’s classes, how they are graded and more.
While parents are the intended guests, students, siblings and other family members are welcome at Back to School Night. Students can show their guests around the campus, giving them an opportunity to ask questions in each class. This event, happening early in the school year, allows parents and teachers to connect, and also helps parents understand crucial information about their children’s classes. Below is the schedule for attending each class:
O Period: 5:15-5:25pm
1st Period: 5:30-5:41pm
2nd Period: 5:48-5:59pm
3rd Period: 6:06-6:17pm
4th Period: 6:24-6:35pm
5th Period: 6:42-6:53pm
6th Period: 7:00-7:11pm

The evening of the event, parents will be able to pick up their children’s schedules and will be directed by the ROTC members to different areas on campus. In addition to classes, parents may also choose to visit the library and take a look at other locations around campus.
The following day, September 13, students and staff will have a minimum day schedule, but may want to stay late to enjoy the Student vs. Staff softball games that afternoon.
