Phoenix Spark Challenge Review
Ms. Diane Halsey, Robotics teacher and club adviser, took her students to the Phoenix Spark Challenge on Travis Air Force Base in May, expecting great things. They did not disappoint.
“Our kids did an amazing job. Their solutions were so impressive,” she said. “They called the base commander to interview them.”
Armijo’s students earned first and third place awards and plan to come back during the summer to “work with personnel to implement solutions,” said Ms. Halsey.
