Fashion Review: Preparing for the Interview
Ladies, do you have an interview coming up for an internship or job but you are completely lost on what to wear? Have no fear.
Remember that you want to come across as someone who wants the job and is a good fit. This means you should dress to impress. Do not wear any item with holes in it, even if it is something that is in fashion.
Remember to stick to neutral colors such as black, navy, white, or beige. You should avoid patterns as you want your personality to shine through not the clothes. This applies to accessories as well. Please remember to wear only minimal jewelry such as a dainty watch and/or small studs.
Try to avoid tight fitting clothes and ill-fitting clothes.
All dresses and skirts should hit below the knee and one should wear tights underneath if the interview does not state specifically if it is business casual.
Short heels should be worn for a business professional look while flats are for business casual.
Bring five printed copies of your resume and remember to make eye contact during the interview! Good Luck!
