Restaurant Review: Get Happy
The Happy Garden is a small Chinese restaurant in Fairfield, but don’t let the size fool you. The food is great, the price is right and it has a welcoming atmosphere.
It is a very friendly restaurant and, although it does not feature a Kid’s Meal, it does have a selection of authentic Szechuan, Mandarin and Cantonese dishes, including beef and broccoli, chow mien (chicken, shrimp or beef), sweet and sour pork and many other choices. The prices for a meal range from about $13 to $19 for a very big plate of food. Drinks, like soda, are sold for $1.50 per bottle and other drinks are available, like lemonade ($1.95) and apple juice ($2.75). Water is complementary.
Meals can star with appetizers such as salads, ribs, prawns or fried wontons for a good price. Vegetarians can also choose tofu or fried rice dishes.
The food is cooked immediately and usually takes about 10 or 15 minutes to bring from the kitchen to the table. The staff is very friendly to the customers and fast with the clean-up.
The Happy Garden can be a great place for family dinners or for a date. Overall, this restaurant is a great place for anyone craving authentic Chinese food. It is located at 5055 Business Center Drive #106 in Fairfield.
