Kyle works hard at school and when he is at work, too.

Kyle Payne is a 16-year old junior who is highly dedicated to his job, at In-N-Out.

He’s attended Armijo since his freshman year and likes the many fun things to do at school and in the community. He’s on the football teams and plays as defensive back / wide receiver, so he’s busy most Friday nights in the fall.

Payne only recently started working at In-N-Out, which is his first job. He originally applied because he needed money. “My friend said that In-N-Out was opening for jobs, and I said, ‘Hey, I do need money,’ so I went and applied. It turns out that they really liked me and my traits so they hired me,” Payne said.

“My favorite thing about work is that everyone is really funny and they’re always smiling,” he said. “It’s a good environment.” If he can, Payne plans to stay at In-N-Out at least until he graduates from Armijo High School.

Here are some facts about him:

  • His favorite color is blue
  • His favorite food is his mom’s meatloaf
  • Before working at In-N-Out he was really broke
  • He wants to become a football player
  • His backup career is a musician
  • He can play tuba, trombone, and trumpet
  • He attended Crystal Middle School
  • He describes himself as stubborn (with a passion)
