Prom Transportation

Most people know that the way students get to prom is all part of the evening.
Those who choose to drive to the event are expected to drive something fancy, with a
date seated by his or her side. Others might choose to go as a group and may rent a
larger car or even a party bus.
There are, of course, some things that prom-goers shouldn’t do, like ride a bike
to the event, even a tandem bicycle. Those who want to make an elegant entrance
might opt out of coming in a Smart Car, especially if it’s pink… that would be just a bad
idea; everything about it is a bad idea. Another bad idea would be driving a go-cart or a
golf cart.
With those bad choices out of the way, what is left? Of course a limousine would
be traditional, especially for those who want to go bold and classic. This means having
a chauffeur, one in a fancy suit specifically, and it wouldn’t hurt if he is British and his
name is Jeeves. If a limousine is out of the price range, accessing a classy rental car
might be possible, especially if a parent has to drive, but for others, arriving in the family
car is still an option. This type of entrance shows people that the driver is down-to- earth
and familiar with high school life. The elegance can take place on the dance floor.
Getting together to rent a limousine or a party bus, or even a nice car, can help
limit the cost. It is best, though, that those who have dates choose to travel with others
with dates. Those who are just getting together as a group of friends might feel awkward
if others are paired off.
Those who feel that their income is limited can still arrive in style if they have
their parents or drivers drop them off around the corner from their destination, they can
pretend that they’ve arrived and walked up the red carpet to the venue.
