In the quarterfinals at the San-Joaquin Section Division II Playoffs, Armijo soccer team wins a 2-1 victory over Putnam High School in Turlock. The teams battled in the second half as Alyssa Soria assisted a goal to Mikeila Martinez. After this goal, Putnam High scored after a corner kick which pushed the match into overtime. The Armijo team did not give up and retook the lead during overtime.

The semi-finals took place at Armijo on Wednesday, February 28, against a team from River City of West Sacramento. Many students and staff were present at the game (through the rainy weather!!) to support our school. The match resulting in a disappointing score of 1-2, but nonetheless, we remain very proud of their efforts to get that far.
