We get it. They may be famous and successful, but why are their habits any different than yours and mine? While bad habits seem to get the negative press, several successful people have benefited from the positive habits they practice.

For instance, film-maker George Lucas, comedian Larry David and newscaster Peter Jennings are avid about keeping a journal.

Another interesting habit that is shared, in this case by perhaps 50% of self-made millionaires, is that they wake up early. The saying that “Time is money” seems to have more truth than most people are ready to accept. And waking up early suggests that there’s more time to do other things in the afternoon. “famous creatives like Franz Kafka, Charles Dickens, Charles Darwin, and Richard Strauss have a serious knack for taking afternoon breaks to get some exercise.” Moreover, exercise doesn’t have to be boring. Liv Tyler reportedly began hula-hooping, according to Glamour magazine’s “The Best and Worst of Celebrity Health Habits.”

We can learn a lot from celebrities and these sites share some valuable information, but there are also several odd behaviors that these icons have adopted that are entertaining and fascinating. That’s right, celebrities can be pretty strange after all.

What’s your quirky habit? If you’re willing to admit it, share it here in the comments section.
