Dec 2017: At Work | Pizza Time

Jericho Gangcuangco started working at Little Caesars Pizza this fall and, since he hasn’t been there for more than a few months, he is still learning the ropes.

At work Gangcuangco makes, cuts, and boxes the pizzas. They require him, as an employee, to wear all black: black pants, shoes, and a Little Caesars t-shirt.

This is Gangcuangco’s first job but his career goal is to become a physical trainer. His main purpose of working currently is so that he can have his own money.

The best part of his job is “all the nice people on the crew,” he said. He also said that one of the most challenging areas in his job is when things get extremely crowded and busy. It can get challenging at times.

Gangcuangco said that he does everything well at his job, and the best advice he could give to someone who’s never worked before is to “listen to everything they say, and do everything that they say.” He said that his boss is cool, and that she’s nice.

It takes time to earn a good paycheck and Gangcuangco works between 20 and 40 hours per week, earning the California minimum wage which is $10.50 per hour. When he is not at work, he is either working out or playing video games.
