O, Brother, how art thou?

For Felipe De Camargo, the best thing about joining his brother on the Armijo campus is all of the encounters he has with him during school. While it has been a couple of years since he and Lucas shared a school campus, it isn’t terribly unusual. It only gets a little annoying when Lucas calls Felipe to tell him to check on their ride home.

“We went to Fairview Elementary together for four years, from 2008 to 2012,” said Felipe. After Armijo, though, they probably won’t share a campus again. Felipe intends to go to college and study computer science or a related field while Lucas is looking at working in construction, probably welding, but he still intends to go to college.

In some ways, the brothers are completely different from each other. Lucas likes to spend his free time outside, riding dirtbikes, especially on weekends. He also enjoys playing soccer and baseball. His younger brother, however, is more likely to spend time on the Internet, watching YouTube or Netflix. He also enjoys drawing in 3D. During the school day he is involved in the GSA club and is considering joining another club, either College and Career or Key Club. Felipe said that he will probably become part of the track team in the spring.

The boys have a younger sister named Bianca so, although Felipe isn’t the youngest, he still suspects his older brother would say he is annoying “because that’s how younger siblings are to older siblings.”
