Solano County had their annual Art Show Saturday and Sunday, May 21 and 22., with 24 schools in total participating. With over 400 beautiful artworks to view, the judges awarded Armijo Art II student Jasmine Hernandez the  Best of Show award!

Many of our other students from Art 1, Art 2, Art 3, and Armijo’s IB Art program participated in the event with most of them placing in the top three in their category, receiving ribbons for their artwork. “I am so proud of our students and the amazing progress they have shown in the classroom this year. It is definitely seeing these moments for the students that make you proud to be a part of their lives,” said Mr. Cody Frisinger, art teacher.

“Wow! Congratulations to Jasmine and to you for encouraging Armijo artists!” said Ms. Vanessa Walling-Sisi.
