The Video Game club offers a new way of bonding between students

“The Video Game Club is about uniting people and creating a cool and safe community for people who enjoy playing games,” said club adviser Ms. Judy Hong. “The club’s primary purpose is to build a safe environment for people to hang out and play video games with others.”

The club started in October and meets Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at lunch in G-8. “Anyone can join,” said Ms. Hong. “All you have to do is come to…G-8 during lunch and talk to the club officers and Ms. Hong first. Then you can start playing games.”

The club officers are seniors Kyle Flournoy, John Salazar and Gavin Ringor. There are about 25 active members who play video games and other party games.
