The Armijo sprinters went to the Bronco Speed Festival at Bella Vista High School the first weekend in April and came home with some new peraonal bests!

The Women’s 4x100m team of Egypt Hughes, Cierra Kinsey, Anisteicia Kinsey, and Sanai Wilson took second place, improving to 50.04 seconds and keeping their #1 ranking in Division 3.

Then, in the individual events, Kinsey and Hughes picked up medals in the 100m, taking 2nd and 3rd respectively in 12.38 and 12.61seconds. Kinsey capped off her day also medaling in the 200m where she ran 25.50.

Coach Kenny has done a fantastic job with the sprinters this year and in a few weeks all these young ladies should get to run at the Sacramento Meet of Champions so look forward to that update!
