A modern look at 70s conflict, love and rock & roll.

I really enjoyed reading Daisy Jones and the Six because of how incredible and amazing everything is, from the writing style to the characters. There is no doubt that this is one the best books I’ve ever read!

When reading Daisy Jones and the Six you really get a feel of the 70’s because of the way Taylor Jenkin Reid describes her scenarios in great detail.

The characters in this book are phenomenally developed. Whether you want to or not, you will be able to connect with these characters on some level and that’s one of the many things that makes this book great. The female characters in this book are all so powerful and so amazing. There are tons of messages about female empowerment, and women supporting women.

The songs included in this book really give life to it because they makes it feel more real. I love the lyrics to, “Regret Me”, but my all-time favorite has to be “Impossible Women”.

I could go on and on about all the amazing parts of this book, but of course no book is perfect and there are always a few flaws. In my opinion, although I felt that the writing overall was unique, the plot was very disappointing compared to the way it builds up. There definitely could have been a stronger way to end the story.

With that being said, I still believe that Daisy Jones and the Six is definitely a book everyone should read because of how incredibly amazing it is!
