The Wrestling League Tournament ended on Friday, February 4, and the post-season is beginning for the Varsity wrestlers.

As a team, Armijo Wrestling tied for 2nd in the Monticello Empire League (MEL) behind #6 in the state Vacaville.

The Royals had six individual boys placed 2nd at the League Tournament and  qualified nine to the Section Tournament which will be held starting February 11.

The girls had the first  unofficial MEL Girls Individual League Championships, where Armijo had three individual  champions: Ashlee Guttierrez, Amber Byrd, and Grace Mercado.  All six girls will be competing at the SJS Sections the second week of February.
