This restaurant has many satisfied customers.

On Restaurantji.com, Katrina L. reviewed Okashi Fusion in Vacaville, giving it four stars.

“My number one go-to after a long day of shopping in the area. What makes this poke spot different and stand out most is the miso shrimp as a protein option and the bacon aioli and pineapple wasabi sauce.

The miso shrimp is well marinated and flavorful it doesn’t even need sauce. It’s also very tender and perfectly cooked. I’m not the biggest fan of shrimp so for me to rave about it, it must mean something.

Another thing that always keeps us coming back is the bacon aioli. You can’t find it anywhere else. It used to be a little stronger in bacon taste, but it could just be the batch I got today or maybe they tweaked the recipe over time.

The pineapple wasabi is also really tasty. The pineapple cuts the wasabi flavor and adds just a hint of sweetness so it’s not as strong as other wasabi mayos.

Overall, a decent poke spot in the area. And another plus they only charge $.50 for avocado compared to other spots who charge $1.”

She liked the restaurant, which is located at 1679 E. Monte Vista #103. She’s not alone. Okashi Fusion has earned 4.5 stars overall from Google, Yelp and Trip Advisor, and five out of five stars on Facebook. Do you agree with these opinions? Share your thoughts with us in the Comments section below.
