Bryan Hernandez has worked very hard. He has played more than 15 games this season and won the title of the best goalkeeper of 2016.

Hernandez  was inspired to go into soccer when he was watching a game with is parents. The  goalkeepers from Spain caught his attention and Hernandez started playing the sport as a striker. He has been playing for nine years in total, two of them for Armijo.

He has played in a lot of games in Concord, Pittsburg, Pleasanton, Fairfield, and beyond. He even played in the National Cup in Colorado. His most memorable game was the first game of national.

Hernandez plans to play soccer in college, hopefully at Stanford University. He has already earned some scholarships for the sport. He wants to do financial businesses after graduating from high school. He enjoys exercising during his free time.

“If you are really passionate about something, just find the right sport and go for it,” said Hernandez. His biggest role model is Iker Casillas, a goal keeper for Spain’s national team. When asked about anything else that he would like to say he suggested, “JUST KEEP WORKING HARD”.
