Homecoming dance has been going around forever, and ours is coming soon.

Here are the answers to some frequently asked questions (FAQs) about the Homecoming Dance:

Q: Where is the dance?

A: The dance will be at Armijo in the football stadium… You will not recognize the football stadium! We are decorating it so it will feel like a whole new environment. This outside environment will allow for some leniency when it comes to wearing masks the entire dance.

Q: When is the Dance? How long is it?

A: The dance is on Saturday, October 16 from 7 to 10:30 pm. Make sure you get in by 8:30 pm because students will not be allowed in after that.

Q: What is this dance bid thing? Can I just buy a ticket?

A: First you need to get a Dance Bid and have it signed by a parent. You can find these in Mr. Towner’s classroom (AG-5), at lunchtime at the PA system when music is playing, or in the front office. Turn the Dance Bid into the Counseling Office (on Ms. Hernandez and Ms. Summers desk). They will check and make sure you haven’t had any discipline problems, and then you can pick it up from the same place and buy your ticket at the Treasurer’s office.

$15 for first 300 students that buy ($10 if you have an Armijo Gold Card)

$20 for all additional students

Q: Can students from other schools come to the dance?

A: We are still waiting on guidance for this decision. If Guest Bids are available, they will go on sale Monday, September 27. (A “Guest Bid” allows guests from other schools and

must be signed by the guest’s parent and the principal of the visitor’s school.)
