Girls can benefit from focused training at this summer camp.

The Solano County Office of Education (SCOE), in partnership with UC Davis C-STEM, will offer free 5-day GIRL camps to middle school and high school girls all around Solano County in June. This is SCOE’s contribution to encourage more females to pursue STEM careers and bridge the gender gap in technology. Because of the uncertainty of the COVID-19 situation, we are still conducting the camps virtually.  The following are the dates and schedule:

GIRL+ Camp (for High School)

June 21- 25         8:30-11:30 am instruction; 1-3 pm office hours (optional but recommended)

Since it’s virtual, we are only accepting a limited number of girls in the program. SCOE is providing all the technology needed for the camp.  The application deadline is May 15. Please inform your students about it. Email [email protected] for answers to your questions.
