Armijo High School had their first school dance, a formal event to celebrate the winter season, on Saturday, December 10. It was originally scheduled to be held at the Fairfield Community Center but had to be moved to the Armijo High School gym which was decorated for the occasion. The dance began and  7 pm and students enjoyed the music and festivities until10 pm.

All of the students and staff who went had a blast and many were already talking about the next dance as they left the premises. They were able to enjoy the music provided by the dj and there was a concessions stand set up in the small gym. Mr. Brad Burzynski, leadership teacher, appreciated the help cleaning up after the dance.

As is traditional for dances at Armijo, all students who attended needed to have a dance bid signed and there were certain requirements, including a minimum GPA. Armijo students were able to invite other high school students as their escort so long as they had filled out similar paperwork for their guests and had it approved.
