Break down the barriers on this special day.

National Reconciliation Day is on April 2. This is a day set aside for people to repair connections that have been damaged over time, whether through misunderstood actions or words spoken unintentionally.

The special day is designed to help with relationships by giving people a chance to make that first step. It is often hard to reconcile or reconnect as days go by, and National Reconciliation Day provides a distinct time to make that happen.

According to Do One Thing.org,  Ann Landers, who was an advice columnist, is one of the most popular people known for promoting National Reconciliation Day, and she helped make it popular starting in 1989.

This day is very good for patching up relationships. If you have had a disagreement or emotional separation with a sibling, parent, grandparent, friend or any relationship, take the first step on April 2 to heal those rifts.
