Crazy times call for wild music like Pandemic.

The pandemic has been challenging for everyone involved, but if you would like to let off some steam, you might want to check out the album Pandemic by Comethazine, released last year in March 2020. While some people might find the lyrics offensive, this debut album is full of original music, despite the fact that it is only 20 minutes long. There are 12 songs, each between 1:30-2:00 minutes in length. According to an interview with Respect Magazine, Comethazine actually got the title of the album by the Netflix series Pandemic and had announced it on social media a little over a week before the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the current global outbreak.

The album was released on March 29, 2020. The most popular song in the album seems to arguably be the song Glide Freestyle, the tenth song on the list, as it has the most views at 3.5 million. The second most popular, No Front, had about 2.5 million views on YouTube at the end of March 2021. The album seems to be tailored towards young adults as the content seems to be explicit yet the lyrics and tone don’t come across as something a more mature person would like. The genre seems to be rap/hip hop with a lot of the songs on the album having a freestyle flow.

In fact, several of the songs seem to have no meaning and arent meant to tell a story, but instead just tune out to the music and enjoy the smooth flow and pace of the songs. Im not usually a fan of rap songs so personally this isnt the kind of album that I would listen to on my own time, but it is a good album with strong music so I do recommend it if this is your genre.
