Springtime is known to bring beautiful flowers and ripe fruits. If you haven’t already, consider starting a garden!

Springtime is the time of year where things start to warm up and gardening becomes much easier. Gardening brings you closer to nature. You become more connected to the earth and can connect with a sense of beauty and emotion. Mother Nature makes things simpler during spring: warmer weather, scatters of rain, and the return of many insects and animals.
When you garden there are things you have to consider: “What is the lowest temperature my plants can stand?” “Is this an annual or a plant that will die on me once the weather changes?” “How often do these plants need to be watered?”
There comes a lot of responsibility with gardening. You don’t want to plant a ton of flower and have them die on you because they were neglected. With that being said, just give gardening a try. It’ll be worth it.

So what are some good choices to plant in spring?

  • The crocus is a beautiful blue flower that blooms every winter, and lasts through spring.
  • The classic yellow daffodil is a bright and yellow blossom that comes up in the springtime, adding a bring color to your garden.
  • The primrose is a small flower that pops up every spring. It can grow in a rangefrom a rainbow of colors including white, canary yellow, deep purple, and pink.
  • Tulips are definitely well-known flowers that almost every garden has. They’re technically perennial, but they often fade after the first year, so they’re treated as annuals and planted every year. The colors range from purple, pink, red, to a white color with pink outlining.

There are dozens of flowers you can choose from, and stores like Home Depot, and Lowes can help you big time. Let’s not forget about the bees, butterflies and ladybugsthat come back out and help your plants thrive.
