The Mediterranean Food Center at is the name of a local well, Mediterranean food center in Fairfield that is well known and well respected in the local community. It is run by the Karaouni family, who also had several graduates from Armijo High School.

Mr. Karaouni and his wife runs the store with the help of some of those former Armijo students. “It was very hard to start the business 15 years ago,” he said. “There’s some competition so we need to be different by relying on our always fresh and tasty food and excellent customer support”.

Taking a look at the Yelp and Google reviews, it’s clear to see that there’s something for everyone and you and your wallet will always be in good hands when eating there! In addition to serving delicious meals with an emphasis on Mediterranean flavors and dishes, they also provide a variety of grocery products for preparing meals at home.

The owner and his wife are happy running this local business just as it is. “I’m happy with what we have,” he said. “I’m really too busy to want to expand…I would like my legacy to be leaving smiles on all the happy customers’ faces.”
