When Kaitlyn Edejer was only five years old, she started playing soccer. She continues to play now for a club team, or at least when the games are happening.COVID-19 has challenged that, but hasn’t diminished her love for the sport.

Edejer and her brothers have always played soccer. Her brothers continued to play all the way up until high school, but she’s the only one who continues to play. She said that she plays soccer because she’s really good, and she enjoys it. It is a sport she is passionate about.

The team she plays for requires her to wear a uniform in blue, orange and white. When she puts on the shorts and t-shirt, she is ready to go and uses that transformation as a way to express herself.
