Have you ever played God of War? If so, how’d you like it? I remember the days my cousin and I were growing up and were taking turns on the PS2.  We used to love playing God of War, getting the new game every time it launched. It was a key part of our childhood.

God of War was created by David Jaffe, a member of Sony’s Santa Monica Studio. The game was first released March 22, 2005. God of War is an action- adventure game based in ancient mythology. Kratos, the main character, was finessed into killing his family by his former master, the Greek God Of War Ares. This leads to wars, not to mention that Kratos has super powers.

God of War was first launched on the PS2. Although there’s no online mode or multiplayer, the games ratings were high. The series has continued to be updated up play on PS4, the most modern system of its time period. There hasn’t been a new game since 2018, but maybe they will make a new game in the series for the PS5 that’s about to drop.

This game has been very successful, selling over 5 million copies within a month of its latest release. There are about nine books and two films on God of War and eleven games in the series.

Overall, this game was real fun. I hope they make a new one for the series. It would be a good idea for the new gaming console (PS5).
