One of the best places to get breakfast in Fairfield is one of those places you’d never expect. Raul’s Striper Café at 1720 North Texas is one of two restaurants by that name owned by Raul R. Raul. His other restaurant is in Rio Vista, where fishing is a familiar pastime, so the name makes sense closer to the Delta.

Specializing in breakfast, but also hosting a delicious lunch menu, Raul’s is open from 5 am to 2 pm. They have a lot of great options and feature several different omelets, like Raul’s Homemade Chile Beans and Cheese omelet and many more. They also serve many types of pancakes and waffles. If you are hungry for blueberry or chocolate chip pancakes, this is a great place to get your fix.

Overall, their food is incredible! I enjoyed the chocolate chip pancakes and they were amazing. The chocolate chips inside made the pancakes gooey and delicious. I strongly encourage you to try it yourself, but because of COVID-19 you might opt to get your breakfast delivered.
