FAIRFIELD – Enjoy this scenic, 5-mile hike through Lynch Canyon in Fairfield. You’ll hike along Middle Valley Trail to Prairie Ridge. There will be steep climbs over several hills with uneven ground – especially at Prairie Ridge – but it’s worth it to see the gorgeous view of the northern bay and Vallejo. Along the hike, guides will point out highlights, discussing plant communities, landforms and birds of Lynch Canyon.

Be sure to wear boots and appropriate clothing, and bring water and a snack.
