New Year, more body positivity.

It makes perfect sense that January, the month of new beginnings, is Healthy Weight Awareness Month. One of the biggest tools to fight health conditions is human communication and connection. That’s why having a Health Awareness Month

Three tips to being healthy:

#1 – Always drink water it helps cleanse your body of waste. It also can boost your metabolism. “I definitely think water plays a big part in losing weight but it also makes your skin super clear,” said Brianna Lowe. “That’s why I like it.”

#2 – Have a healthy diet. Fruits and veggies should be in all of your meals. Don’t eat too much red meat. Choose dishes made with olive or canola oil, which are high in healthy fats.

#3 – Stay motivated and keep your diet. If you really want results, not breaking the diet is really important. I think going to the gym is an important aspect of losing weight,” said Madeline Eckroate. “I try to go almost every day and I have been seeing results.”
