Armijo Gay Straight Alliance held their elections and our new officers are Laura Wood and Heather Garrett (President/Co-President), and Jessica Stockham and Kianna Casilang (secretary/treasurers). 

GSA has started their “Speak Up Against Hate Speech” Poster campaign. You may have seen one of our informational posters in the hallways. We also distributed “This is a safe place to be yourself” posters to every teacher to hang in their classrooms.

Our hope is that LGBTQ students and their friends, family and allies, feel safe and free from discrimination at Armijo High School. If you are interested in joining GSA, come eat lunch with us on Tuesdays in E-3.
