Twins like Jalen and Cameron Joseph have a lot of reasons to like going to school together, which is good. They don’t seem to have much choice and usually spend at least 13 years in the same schools, and often in the same classes. But it is not all good. “The worst thing about sharing the campus with him is that everyone thinks I’m Cameron. He’s taller,” said Jalen.

“The best part about having my brother on campus,” he continued, “is that I will always know someone and have someone to hang out with.” This year, they share one class – Statistics. In the past they shared campuses at Amy Blanc and Rolling Hills Elementary Schools and B. Gale Wilson. They even plan on attending Sacramento State together in the fall, where Jalen will major in Criminal Justice. Cameron did not share his major.

The twins are both athletic. “I was involved with basketball and football,” said Jalen. “I won defensive player of the year for Armijo football.” Cameron was also noted for his athletic skill, winning Most Valuable Player (MVP) for the basketball team.

The brothers have an older sister, Nicole (28) and an older brother, Terell (24).
